Within our manufacturing units we make sure that we are fully compliant with our social and environmental policies.

SEDEX: Sedex audited units adhere to high ethical standards in the conduct of the their activities with particular emphasis on worker rights such as fair wages, good working conditions & no child labor. All are bags are made in SEDEX approved units

GOTS: Global Organic Textile standard is a cerification that governs the production, processing and supply of organically produced cotton

 ISO 9001: ISO 9001 is defined as the international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system (QMS). Organizations use the standard to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements

Health and Safety Policy

Impia provides its employees with a safe and healthy workplace. Clean drinking water, centralised fire alarm systems, first-aid training personnel in every department, adequate lighting and air circulation at places of production and transportation for workers. Working hours are limited to a max of 10 hrs/day with a lunch break included.

Gender Discrimination Policy

We provides equal opportunities to both men and women. Although majority of the work force in the manufacturing industry consist of men, we continuously encourage employment of women.

Child Labour Policy

Impia doesn’t support child labour in her manufacturing process and doesn’t work with employees under the age of 16 years old.

Employee Working Conditions Policy

Employees at Impia work for fair wages and receive benefits such as the Employees State Insurance and Provident Fund.
